Every blog requires a first post by way of introduction. So consider this my humble introduction into the diverse and exciting world of blogging.
In this first post, you’ll learn a little more about why I decided to start a blog, what I’ll write about, and how to get in touch.
Why Start a Blog?
A blog is an opportunity to write down, express, and share ideas. They may be fully developed treatises, or simply just a few thoughts jotted down and typed into a post.
The primary reason I wanted to start a blog is that I love the art and practice of writing, and this gives me the opportunity to cultivate that discipline and share my work with others. I chose blogging as a medium because it’s more of an organic form that can evolve over time. When you write for a blog, you aren’t writing a final, complete version of your thoughts on a subject, but rather sharing works in progress.
I also want to use my blog as a means to sharing truth with others. I believe that truth is something which everyone searches for, but struggles to find. I won’t pretend that I have all the answers, but I pray earnestly that you may find truth in this blog.
What Will I Write About?
My personal interests are quite varied. I have a background in history, but I currently work as a content writer. I love to travel and share my experiences and recommendations with others. I am an avid fan of all sports, but particularly tennis and the Olympic games. I also have a deep affection for food, family, and the shared traditions that bring us together. Above all, my faith in Jesus Christ is the guiding force in my life.
You can expect that the content I share here will reflect my interests. While some posts may form something of a series, I don’t intend this forum to be a running column that consistently discusses the same subject. Instead, it will be a way to share what I’m feeling passionate about at the time.

Ultimately, I want you to read my content because it interests you or resonates with your life. If you aren’t interested in a particular subject, feel free to ignore it. But of course, there’s always something to be said about discovering something new. If this blog speaks truth into your life in any way, I am grateful for it.
